Killzone 3 crash

    Have been playing this for the last few weeks and after an update 2 days ago I can't get it started. I get to the first screen with the auto save logo flashing and after that nothing, black screen for 10 minutes then the disc stops spinning and the ps3 has crashed. I've read about this bricking the console so am afraid to try again. Has anyone else had this problem?

    Try deleting the game data saved on the PS3. Reinsert the disk and reinstall the patch.

    If that doesn't work, ring Sony.
