N40 merging.

Is it poor road design or bad driving?, most drivers merging from Bishopstown RA and Sarsfield Rd RA heading east head straight into lane 2, the old section carried very few vehicles which made it very easy to merge from the crappy slip roads at the Kinsale Rd RA, lane 1 seems to be a complete waste of tarmac.

Welcome to Irelands inability to use a 3 lane highway. The N7 between Dublin and Naas and the M50 is even worse.
