Hey guys, I know this isn't the most active of forums, but sure I may as well do my bit to change that.

As some of you may know, The Cruthú Arts Festival kicked off on Thursday night in town, and runs all weekend with various art exhibitions, craft shops, concerts and theater events taking place throughout the town showcasing all the talent our county has to offer.

I had a walk around town today and had a look at some of the pop up exhibitions and was very impressed by the standard of work on display. It's nice to be able to share positive news about the town/county and I hope plenty of people come into town if they get a chance to enjoy what's on display throughout the weekend and appreciate all of the volunteers and artists hard work.

Myself personally am exhibiting along with 3 friends all of us having graduated from the Limerick School of Art and Design, in Hibernian court in the old Grasshopper building, just across from the shopping centre. We're open from 11am-6pm Saturday and Sunday.

Here's a link to our exhibitions event page which has lots of pictures of our work so you can get an idea of what's in store.

Great work and creative variety all around the town!

So good to see it the town especially on a wet day like today! would urge anyone around to make sure to drop in on the last day which is tomorrow! It is evident a lot of hardwork went into the whole festival!

In the Little Blue Room, the Moogles Theatre Company will take to the stage again tonight for their second performance of 'Intentions' at 8pm. €8 at the door.
