Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best 'supermarket' beans?

    Hi guys

Just thought I might start a thread where people could recommend the best beans they got in a supermarket and the price. I know I prefer freshly roasted from a good cafe when I can, but I have been caught short a few times and tried some supermarket stock.

Ponticelli beans in Supervalu (actually bought these just a couple of days after they were roasted which was a nice and surprising find) €4.95 - Very nice, comes in two types a blue and orange bag, I got the orange.

M&S Italian Beans - €3.70 approx. Not bad but wouldn't be rushing out to buy them again. Decent coffee for having guests over :D

Also have a bag of SuperValu signature tastes colombian in the press unopened. (€3.60ish price wise I think)

    Any more suggestions?

The SuperValu singature range Colombian is my staple. After that the Tesco Finest Colombian. Then the M&S Colombian, which I pick up the odd time I'm in Cork. I'm not gone on the Italian ones.
