What do people want from this game? Get a bit of a chasing in midfield, get to go home early to continue training properly and highlight that midfield isn't up to standard?

Hard to hope for that, but maybe short term pain to highlight deficiencies?

I'm sorry, but I can never understand posts like this. There was some of this type of talk last season from people who were looking to get Moyes out, by us losing, and it drove me mad.

I go into every single match, whether friendly or vital league or cup game wanting us to win, the same very much applies tonight, I'll be very disappointed if we don't get a result that gets us to the final.

different ways of looking at it i guess. this game, for me, is meaningless. i fear for our prospects this season given our current squad. if LVG knows this but isn't letting on in public then lets win this, if not then i hope weaknesses are exposed and the risk of, yet again, missing out on a top four place is reduced.
