Lambert hasn't had a great pre-season so far. Granted it's only pre-season but the more I see of him the more I hope he's more 3rd or 4th choice than 2nd.

Sterling, Coutinho and Sakho have been excellent.

Johnson bad as usual.

Lambert a bit anonymous. Not sure he suits the way Liverpool play. He doesn't have the movement. Rodgers will know he needs to get another good striker in.

Decently interesting game. United still have no-one in midfield looking to take the ball off the defenders and there's no connection between defence and strikers unless they go out wide.

Liverpool by contrast have lots of that but Lambert is poor. You wouldn't want to be starting with him in big games if Sturridge got injured.

Possibly. Think he'll be fine as 3rd choice but probably don't want him starting a pile of games this season. Coutinho and Sterling can't thread little balls through for him as he doesn't have the pace to get to them.

Good first half that. United very sloppy in there passing and liverpool don't have much of a threat upfront bar sterling.
Sterling, coutinho and Sakho brilliant. The 2 full backs the real weak spots for liverpool johnson in particular.

He'll be useful from the bench against teams who park the bus and we need the famous "Plan B".

He's spent most his career in the lower leagues, he's 32, he'd have been playing at a higher level from an early age if he was good enough to be Liverpool's second striker.

Seen that adds pop up a few times, bit of a cack-handed attempt to make a name for themselves. Dubbing is way off.
