I think there is a clue in the colour codes TommieBoy.

You'll notice if you quote a post from Xhu that there is a different colour code each time.

These colour codes relate to hex colours and have rgb values.

It may be related ti number of letters present.

For example, my post " number of spaces between words" contains 26 letters.

It didn't make any difference if I left spaces or not as Xhu quoted both those posts with the same hex colour.

An RGB value of (16, 0, 6) for that 26 letter post.

I'm trying to figure out which value is the score (eg. 16 or 0) and what gave me that score from what I posted.

I could be completely wrong about all this though! Just the way I'm considering things at the minute. :)

sooooo, the colour code provides a score that is unreadable?? :/
suuuuuurrre, whatever xhu... gotchya - I am out.
...good luck anyone who can read that, cheers.

You could be right and maybe there is a mistake in the way they are being posted.
I am probably embarrassingly reading far too much into something that might not even be meant to be a clue, and on completely the wrong track.
Baffled at the minute because I have myself confused! :-D

I was thinking maybe the green value of the rgb code is the one we use because correct is usually written in green.

No, don't second guess yourself Betty... Sounds like you are on the right track, according to Xhus explain... This game could be great fun... But if we are to judge the rules based on scoring, and said scoring is unreadable, then that is not fair imo.

so, does this mean, others can organise another?
would you, Mod Blisterman or OH, prefer it be started in a different thread?

Yep, the thread can be considered "open mic" after this. I would emphasise the importance of having a week deadline in that case as a thread rule (so that it doesn't get bogged down in one impossible round). I do have more ideas so I might come back to do more rounds at some stage but at the moment I'd like a break from designing and marking the rounds and maybe give someone else the opportunity if there is interest.
