    Looking for recommendations for a place to stay with my little yorkie in france. Hoping to be near Cherbourg port. Would be first time travelling abroad with my dog.

    Try abritel.fr or leboncoin.fr.

    In abritel you can filter your search looking for 'Animaux bienvenus' accomodation. You should find plenty.

    Check out airbnb. It has a pet friendly filter search option. Message the owner before hand to make sure that you can have your pet in the bedroom.
