Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Read online Conor's new 8 fight contract is 75k/75k. Tonight, Dustin is getting 35k/35k so if he loses Conor still gets paid more. Only fair really seeing how much he's hyping the whole card. MM is making the easiest money of his life tonight between win bonus and PPV money.

I'm a Setanta subscriber but away from home tonight. It's not on Sky Go and I've been searching franticly for other but everything I've found suggests it can't be viewed online

And you can guarantee Dana will have a fat brown envelope waiting for him back stage as well. Conor said as well in his new contract he will be top 2 paid in the UFC when (if) he wins the gold. Said that in a Q&A, that's unreal money if true.

$150K if he wins plus potential Perfomance bonuses. Plus additional PPV payments. plus suite accomodation and food paid for. PLus sponsorship. A couple of months after Ireland.

    Brazil on the horizon.

    Nice life

I thought he was just getting warned. Saying that 2 nut shots so quick is bad.

Terrible stand up. Herzog is having a shocker.

Brasil on the horizon, seriosuly? I'm not a UFC nut so can you give more details?

    Possible venue/dates/opponent?

Brian Ebersole is always entertaining. Should be a fun fight between himself and John Howard.

    agree

really like ebersole, fun fighter who's rarely in any trouble, was a breath of fresh air when he came to the ufc with all his antics
I would be amazed if this didnt go the distance

Have to say lads. The more UFC I watch. The more I get hooked.

Looking forward to the Cruz fight.

Been warned by Mrs googled eyes that if I stay up for the whole thing I'm on kiddie duty all day tomorrow.

    Should be worth it :eek::pac:

10-9 Ebersole, 10-9 Howard so far in my book.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,931 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

ebersole was 11/4 to win this at the start of the 3rd with ladbrokes
problem was the max they would allow me is 4 euro

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Very close fight. Could really go either way.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,629 ✭✭✭googled eyes

    Think Ebersole won that.

Shame to see that ending up looking like a sparring match.

Conor's accent has gotten even more bizarre. I assume the UFC are asking him to put on that accent so people can understand him... At least I hope that's what they've asked him to do.

usually ok with my stakes and first time ive seen that with them so maybe
its just with mma live betting

you are right though, they are a poor excuse for a bookie as with a
few more big named ones (esp stan james)

odds at end of rnd 3, more annoyed now that ebersole won
    hard call though

I the Dublin documentary you can see him in the taxi putting a pen in his mouth because he reckons it clears the speech. In fairness a rough Crumlin accent would not really cut it for the media commitments.

He is obviously working on speech and using american terms to suit the audience.

    Smart move TBH

What is it with it with the American crowds that they never show up for prelims? Looks/sounds empty

    Is it fashionable or something?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,970 ✭✭✭Lenin Skynard

I get the feeling that Thompson is going to land something nice here.

2 good paid sparring sessions there in a row them last 2 fights.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,503 ✭✭✭adamski8

Thompson defo more worried about beong beat than beating cote there. He was there for the finish.

"Thompson let him off the hook" says Joe. Hard to disagree with that, the knockout was in the palm of his hand.
