so whats on the agenda tonight??

iss, full moon, shooting stars, satellites ??

All of the above :) Plus the ATV I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas :D
Two passes of the ISS a nice long one at 10.20 and another at 11.57. My local forecast is good so I'm heading up to a high spot and hoping to see the ISS hit the horizon. I saw it this time last year do that at around 6am and just as it hit the sun came up - what a sight!

I need to get a good HD video of the big moon tonight but it's low down as I'm in a bit of a valley. might drive out a bit later and get a recording if weather permits.
I tried this last year and there I was with my tripod and video camera all set up at the edge of the estate and the cops came and told me to move on lol, hope it's not the same tonight.

I might just hop on the roof of the house and do it from there instead. Will see how she goes later.

its not due to dock until the 12th but its doing a 3d image of the iss from pretty close so it might not stand out from the space station.

ATV-5 is still quiet far in front of the ISS, it should be visible tonight guessing about 10min before the ISS passes over.

I didn't spot it for a while because I expected it to be closer to ISS but when I did see it, I guessed it was about 10 secs ahead.

Perfect conditions tonight. :) The moon really lights up the sky!

Just seen the two of them cross over, brilliant to watch and a terrific night for it :)

It was an excellent night for it. Will be out again in an hour or so when it goes back again.

Took a quick open shutter shot of them going by. Have to use delay next time, image caught the button press.

If anyone can suggest better settings for next time, by all means(canon 650d, 18-55mm lens)

That was awesome, stayed on the horizon for ages. Grabbed a couple of quick pics, they don't do it justice at all.

Amazing! Anyone spotted a meteorite yet? The moon is fairly flooding them out I reckon, still, I'm optimistic!
