Unauthorised Reactivation of Direct Debit

Hi, Just wondering if members have any advice on what i should do if a cancelled direct debit recommences after a number of months and begins to take money out of my account. It was cancelled 18 months ago and restarted a few months ago. ' rang the bank but not getting anywhere. Thanks.

Reverse all the DDs under SEPA rules and block the originator. Banks often act as if these are both an alien concepts.
