Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm going to keep him for this week and hope for the best.

part of the gamble was that rvp may be dropped and Rooney moved up top and onto pens. it won't happen this weekend but rvp will not start both hull and stoke games Rooney will
rooney Costa aguero up front what can go wrong :D
apart from captaincy choice which I will get wring again

Mixed bag for Robertson tonight. He was at fault for two England goals but he is excellent going forward, very good on the ball.

Welbeck was poor, he is too honest for his own good. Works his ass off in every game, but it's usually to the benefit of others. He's staying in my team though, I don't no why.

    Clyne was very impressive again.

Brady with 2 goals tonight too. If he was guaranteed to start and take set-pieces he'd be ideal.

    Massive "if" there though unfortunately

He's started the last 3 for Hull so maybe someone to keep an eye on, only 4.6 too. Is he more likely to start in the 4-4-2, rather than the 3-5-2 or whatever Hulls other formation is?

    In a word. ....Falcao.

He's nearly back. Will get a run up front soon and if he has properly worked through the injury niggles he could be epic.

Was at the Ireland game and he was excellent at LB. His deliveries tonight and against Scotland were top drawer and that was a classic free. If he seems to have nailed down his place by the start of December he will probably be my 5th mid for Xmas.

    Reverse OOP though at wingback

Gets forward a lot and has indirect frees and corners I think (he's brilliant at them anyway). May even get a penalty if Jelavic is not on the pitch. Eye for goal. Scored a couple in Europa. FFixtures could be better over xmas mind.

We're talking cheapie 5th mid here. Could be worth the 0.2 over Boyd I reckon.

I seem to remember him being really good at the start of last season and then getting injured. Was he injured for the rest of the season, or just not win his place back when he returned?

Combination of the injury and Hull switching formation to 352 saw him not get a regular place back. He has adapted it seems and playing LWB and keeping Robertson on the bench the last few games. Lovely footballer so would love an excuse to have him in my team. He was in my GW1 team last year as i rate him highly and did great for me.

Think ill keep an eye on him, really have no faith in boyd ever getting me points if needed, so would be good to upgrade him, especially over Christmas.

Hulls next 5 games aren't great with Spurs (H), UTD (A), Everton (A), West Brom (H) and Chelsea (A). The Chelsea game is on the 13th of Dec, so could swap him after that, and have him over Christmas.
Thats if he still has his place.

BBC reckon it's an unchanged XI from Saturday?

Chelsea XI: Courtois, Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Fabregas, Matic, Willian, Oscar, Hazard, Costa.

Yeah, I remember watching it in the pub with some mates, none of us had ever heard of him.

Hoping Chelsea to put the game to bed and Costa to come off on 60.
