Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Clyne yellow. Not sure where that leaves him for the season to date

That puts him onto the tight rope. Scheniderlin and Wanyama suspended if they pick up one this match

Zouma going off on a stretcher here, doesn't look good and could lessen the Chelsea defensive rotation over xmas

    Ivan coming on

so if players pick up yellows in the cup they count towards the league as well, bit misleading for casual's who have no interest in midweek games. The likes of Mangala someone said had 4 yellows, but only 2 on the FF site.

Yep league and cup games count for bans. On the flipside bans can be served in the cup too

I'd be extremely confident of Terry and Hazard starting all xmas games. It's no coincidence the both sat out last week's cl dead rubber. Yet mourinho despite making changes starts them tonight as it's a game he wants to win. Terry is the captain and Hazard is a player that they don't have a like for like replacement. The likes of oscar costa Willian azpil are the most likely for rotation. I'd be fairly confident of fab starting all xmas games too.

    Felipe Luis scores a freekick

Everyday since I've brought Azpi in I regret it a little bit more :(

what a hit! I'm now seriously contemplating getting Luis in for Moore

    wanyama picks up that yellow

Hopefully for southamptons sake this means when he loses his place, he doesnt get it back

no way he will be fit
what he said yday was that he may be OK cos he thought his ankle had been broken but its not! They can't do a scan yet due to swelling. there will be ligament damage of some description no doubt about it

Sterling a great option now, playing very well in CF position

Eriksen has assisted both Spurs goals. The man is in great form.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,579 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Bournemouth goal. Liverpool really a no go area for defenders even with their good run coming up. Actually Sterling looks the only possible option in that team atm

    Kane goal

hhhhhmmmm dare I not bring in yaya and captain eriksen .....

    Soldado goal

Kane was subbed for Soldado, so have to imagine its for a rest/injury protection ahead of the weekend
Chadli was also subbed off for Demeble on 61

    Eriksen assist again

    another eriksen assist ?
    is that 3 now ?
it is 3 assists for eriksen one for Townsend
can't believe I'm considering captaining him but I really am

Eriksen pushes right past Silva and Nasri as my transfer in for Mirallas. Form over fixtures have to take precedence

Probably a bit early yet to consider captaining Super Andros, give it a few weeks though and you'll be on a winner.

    he he :)
its probably as crazy as captaining the other lad really!
He was on my "never buy again " list up until 2 weeks ago but his haul Sunday has helped ......don't think I can bring myself to captain him though
    so flaky

Spurs are so unpredictable that it would be a pretty big risk to captain one of their players. Tonight doesn't change my thinking in terms of transferring in Yaya; he has the best next four fixtures, is on pens, and has some form. Out of curiosity, who is on pens for Spurs when Soldado and Adebayor aren't on the pitch?

Good question, according to FFS it's Super Andros (as if you needed any more incentive) and then Kane.

    Chelsea v Liverpool
Spurs v Sheff Utd over 2 legs in the CC semi final

2 big games there for Chelsea and will surely mean more rotation in January

It's an FA Cup weekend between the two legs at least

Having seen the Spurs goals I'd be giving Alwnick the assists rather than Eriksen. Not so clear cut after all :pac:

3 assists for a keeper surely makes him a must have regardless of clean sheets

You'll think of any reason at all not to make the sensible decision ;)

Probably just trying to blag himself a more experienced keeper for the derby.

I think this is exactly what he is doing !
hopefully does not work and that young keeper stays in goal for the trip to Man United Stephens day! Rooney has a great record against them as well as villa

The FA Cup third round starts tonight but no EPL sides in action till tomorrow. Amazingly though only 3 EPL sides play on the Saturday of FA Cup 3rd round weekend - Newcastle, Swansea, West Brom. God be with the days when 3rd round day was a big day on the calendar.

Rest of the third round is spread out over Sunday, Monday night and Tuesday night

4 teams in action today, Swansea have left Siggy out of their lineup, Wisdom out for WBA, Santon has returned for Newcastle and he's available at 4.3.
