Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aguero playing tonight, cert to be left out the weekend if Jovetic is any bit fit.

I'd be worried (when I was typing that I was thinking how ridiculous it must sound for a non FPL player) if I was an Azpilicueta owner, Luis is likely to get a run out in the league soon

Yeah, worrying for me as I have both Costa and Aguero.

Same as me so equally worried here but Dzeko is a good safety net if the worst happens.

Hardly a cert. Its tuesday night and city at home. Lots of time for recovery

Good to see Aguero's still on penalties after Yaya done so well with them last season.

Really need City to hammer these so Aguero can be called ashore early.

As an azpi owner I'm glad to see Luis starting in europe tonight ahead of azpi

Might mean your guy will start at the weekend but that is a full strength Chelsea team.

Aguero replaced by Jovetic after 83 mins. Tactical.

For his hamstrings benefit, look maybe I'm wrong but we shall see, doubt it though.

It means that Jovetic is fit again, and will therefore probably get game time against Villa. Given Dzeko came off early he'd have to be favourite to get most minutes. My gut therefore would be that Aguero might only get 60mins max at the weekend. Still enough to score big, but combined with the International break just after it's probably enough to make me wait to get him in.

Plus because of tonight's result cska game which is between gw 8 and 9 is now a must win and you'd imagine Aguero will play that think it's away aswell. I'm going to hold off on him for now but think he will probably start the weekend but can't see him starting in all of the next 3 league games.

Yeah, I wouldn't be panicking if I had him but I think it's good enough reason to hold off getting him for now.

I've no City cover at all though which is a bit of a risk.

Aguero plays when he's fit, he'll have plenty of time to rest when he eventually gets injured again :pac:

Joking aside I dont think he was rested much last season, maybe once or twice plus I dont see any point in resting him before an international break.

Id like to have him myself but just dont think its worth the -4 Id need to get him at the moment. I also have silva which helps.

He wasnt fit long enough last season to get rested:pac:. I agree I think he will start at the weekend city played at home tonight and its 4 days recovery.
Its GW 8 home to spurs Oct 18
away to cska moscow oct 21 in a must win game
GW 9 away to west ham oct 25 that Id be concerned with.
Looking at citys squad only 3 strikers and nasri injured he may well start all games but Ive a feeling he will be benched for 1 of the next 3 league games

If he comes through the break in one piece I'll probably still get him.

Yea I agree there's a good chance he'll be rested soon. I'm thinking of swapping for Pelle after this week anyway as I dont think he's worth 12.1 at the moment.

If he has a good game against Chelsea & two more good games for England his price will fly up before GW8. Would rather chance it early and get the rises if I'm lucky! He could always fire a blank in those 3 games and leave me out to dry but those are the risks :pac:

In my experience non PL performances don't have as dramatic an effect on price rises. When a player scores a big FPL points score and is sticking out in the transfers page and the dreamteam the masses start transferring. European andIinternational results are not as high on the radar for many fpl players.

did chambers play for arsenal tonight ? if so how did he do?
still trying to decide who to switchpieters for! whoever it is won't be played this week anyway but transfer has to be done to prevent losing one
candidates are chambers or a cheaper Stoke defender either Wilson or muniesa......

He's awful, I've lost count of the amount of balls he's given away. His positioning is terrible too.
