So yeah, was well impressive with the videos I saw on youtube of these guys, but I got their album for my birthday there the other week and I've been listening to it loads since! Really, really terrific stuff! So I thought they deserved their own thread!

Along with guitar, bass and drums, they use traditional instruments such as Koto, Taiko, Shamisen and Shakuhachi

Something different. I always enjoy hearing unconventional instruments in Metal. You know of any other bands that use a Koto in their sound?

Off the top of my head? There's a rather interesting metal band from Finland called Whispered who seem obsessed with all things Samurai, they're kinda funny, but incorporate a koto into their music
