Very tidy finish from Lamela. Im sure some of the posters here will find issue with it however.

Monaco just drawn level with Anderlech. Good for us.

Well done Lamela son. He's made a few mistakes tonight but he's worked his socks off and got just reward. I know he messed up that big chance earlier but it was encouraging to see him have the balls to take it off Alli's toe and try himself.

Dele Alli will be a vital player for us this season. Such a good talent.

Seriously impressed. Getting better with every game. Could be some player with another 20 games under his belt.

Yup. And into the future too. He's going to be awesome.

Alli MOTM for me anyway, delighted for Lamela when he got the goal,he tried hard all game but things went against him most of the time.

    Get in there :pac:

I'm sorry but I've Long since lost all patience with lamela. One sunny day does not a summer make and let's fave it he was utter shiote till the 65th minute. They're hardly world beaters. No he's still dung in my eye and first chance to offload would be good business.

IV had enough of him too. But we may as well play him in Europe.

You're forgetting Lamela changed the game against Everton, a couple of goals and his head would lift, he's just caught in a rut with too much pressure on him. The pressure is now on Kane after last season

He can play every game in Europe if he plays like that...

... the opposition where poor granted but I think the players like Son and Alli and even Townsend are more in sync and more on his wave length than some of the players he played alongside last season

Thursday 1 October: Monaco v Tottenham - 6pm (BT Sport Europe)

I watched Monaco against Montpellier last week, a match they eventually won somehow, mainly because Montepellier have a really shít keeper.

Anyhoo they look bloody awful, especially at the back. Should win this comfortably. Hopefully Clinton starts and smashes one in.

Play the same 11 that beat Man City in all the knock out games...

We'll win the Europa and qualify for the Champions League.....

And end up 6th in the Premiership !!!

    #masterplan.

    Lloris

    Trip Alderweireld Wimmer Rose

    Tom-- Mason/Alli

    --Townsend-- Lamela/Eriksen----Chadli

    Njie

I think Poch will choose the above team.

Im usually all for playing the kids but id much rather just have 10 points after 4 games and send the kids out to kazakstan afterwards

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,428 ✭✭✭MrKingsley

Monaco arent muck either. They pushed Valencia in the qualifying games and they do well at home despite there being zero atmosphere

Looks like Son took a foot injury Saturday so he won't be travelling for the Europa.
Hopefully he's good for the weekend

Agree with this. We might as well go and win all four games then we don't have to worry about the tournament until February.

Not seeing that on any other site & on the sky site theres this quote from Poch

Pochettino told Sky Sports News HQ: "It is bad news about Son - he got a foot injury against Manchester City and we need to assess him for the next few weeks.

Hopefully its only a couple of weeks, six would be harsh

We are an absolute cracker of a price just to win !!!!
    14/5.

And 7/1 for both teams to score and Spurs win.

i'll put the 14/5 on my plate with plenty of ketchup please Mr Power.

Really tempted by Spurs -2 at about 22/1.
Might play it safe & just get on Spurs to win
