It only took Eriksen 13 corners, to finally make one count.

Especially for someone renowned for his set pieces.

Ground out the win, clean sheet, no injuries. And Kane remains on his hot streak.

    Bring on Chelsea.

=(:-) Me? I know who I am. I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude (-:)=

Considering turnaround time for Chelsea I would be happy with a draw and of course , love a win.

Surely Thursday is a good chance to rest the likes of the 2 centre halves, dier , Kane, eriksen etc??

Totally agree, I'd be raging if Kane starts this. Ideally nobody who's starting v Newcastle starts this.

I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of youth mixed with experience. Apparently Monaco are planning on bringing a young team too.

    Vorm

Trippier - Wimmer - Carter Vickers - Davies

    Winks - Mason

    Lamela - Onomah - Townsend

    N'Jie

I like the look of that. Maybe Carroll instead of Lamela. Shame Pritchard is still injured, this kinda game would be ideal for him.

Apparently Bentaleb and Chadli could be back in contention.

    Mason is out.

Would be good to give them gametime if they're ready. Neither are likely to be regulars anytime soon, but still useful players to have in reserve.

Would have preferred to see Alderweireld and Lloris rested too

And Dier. He said in an interview recently that he was burnt out by Christmas last season. He's played probably twice as much so far this season.

Interesting to see how the new starters will get on tonight,we just need a draw and the team should be good enough to get that at least.

I seem to recall him having a break, was he suspended for a game?

Hopefully Bentaleb and Carter-Vickers get 30 minutes or more in place of Dier and Alderweireld.

Edit: Vertonghen is one yellow away from a ban so this is a chance for a Wimmer and Alderweireld partnership that will likely be needed in a PL game soon.

    Yeah one game.

Trippier hopefully gets himself forward. Enough in that team to get the job done.

Either Son or N'Jie to get on the score sheet.

    Wonder who's on corner duties?
