    Great to see the confidence flowing through the whole squad

    Look at how Tommy Carroll has come on under Poch. Up to now he always had a lovely touch but was pushed off the ball far too easily. Not the same now, he barged his way through ball at his feet and scored a great goal. He's a different player.

    Great energy displayed, pack of dogs mentality. Team tonight really clicked. Welcome break from the competition.

    Serious fight for places once everyone is fit. Townsend future looks decided. Bentaleb still playing scary passes.

    Great to see us put in such a performance last night but our defending from crosses leaves a lot to be desired - I can see Premiership teams targeting that area against us .. Townsend looks like he'll be gone in January.. Good to see Carroll play well .. Monaco were very poor but hey that's not our fault .. Where is Berbo now ? Thought he was with them last year.. COYS !!!!

    Liverpool and Utd got handy draws. We've probably got the toughest, with Fiorentina currently in 2nd in the Serie A.

    Alright we're back in play in Europe this Thursday.

    What do people reckon the team will be?

    I'm thinking..

    Vorm
    Trippier Carter-Vickers Wimmer Davies
    Onomah Mason Carroll Chadli
    Lamela
    Son

    Keeping alot of the lads rested but still having enough quality to get a point I reckon.

    Fiorentina are doing quite well in third spot. If we can escape without having to put too many key players into the mix then I think this will do us good come the run in.
