Traveling to Vietnam

I have a friend travelling to Vietnam for a year to teach English in Hanoi. Just wondering if there is anyone else out there who is travelling alone who would like to be in contact and know a friendly face out there? or anyone who knows anyone else already out there?

There is an active GAA scene in Hanoi. Both male and female teams. Your friend will be welcomed by that community and find it easy to settle in.
