fibre now in Mountmellick but can't get it till August 27th?

Just checked eircom fibre rollout map and it's now in Mountmellick! Rang Vodafone to set it up but told I can't get it till the 27th August? strange! Has anybody in the area managed to get fibre yet? If so, with whom?

In my region in Cork we've had it for about a year already, last month Vodafone called and we said when, second week in August at the earliest.

Which August we asked?

Just got a phone call from Vodafone. All good now. They're upgrading me to fibre and should have an engineer out to my house this week or early next week. lovely jovely!
