Miriam is very poor at interviewing.
Don't know how she lasted this long on RTE.

It's probably down to her looks that has got her this far. She's such a wooden presenter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,351 ✭✭✭✭Harry Angstrom

You'd want to take out a mortgage to get a round of drinks in The Shelbourne.

I like this head chef fella - he's a real gentleman

He tells tourists they need to get a taxi from the Shelbourne to get to Trinity.

    You could nearly jump there.

I want to arrive in the Shelbourne with my finest tracksuit and stay the night, it's on my bucket list.

The concierge fella looks like he keeps the chef in a job all by himself.

Pricey but there's places in Temple Bar that charge more.

When you work with the public, you make sure the biggest spenders in the hotel get God on the hotline, they pay for it and after that, as my dad would say, you make "suitable sounds"........

    Par for the course..........

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,806 ✭✭✭taytobreath

how much is a night in the shelb to the normal people

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,585 ✭✭✭✭Lady Chatterton

What about client confidentiality? I'm not staying in the Shelbourne :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 74,322 ✭✭✭✭Welsh Megaman

Cant believe the celebrity obsession with this whole Shelbourne thing, obviously every 5* hotel is like that but they arent so obvious about it, they're so blatant about it in the Shelbourne its tacky not high class.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,653 ✭✭✭✭amdublin

I've been enjoying the series/program I must say...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,749 ✭✭✭✭grey_so_what

    WTF is Bruno Whatit's???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,696 ✭✭✭Lisha

    'We never say no'

Has to be a fact that the concierge is scoring coke n hookers for some delightful VIPs !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,351 ✭✭✭✭Harry Angstrom

Bruno Mars - the fella who'd jump in front of a train for you and catch a grenade for you, but today he doesn't feel like doing anything....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,444 ✭✭✭✭Skid X

Slagging off Ryan Tubridy is a national sport, but Miriam is worse IMO

If I'm ever in Dublin, it's the Harcourt Hotel for me.

Just a few yards from Coppers few minutes walk to The Sugar Club.

The program isn't geared that way as much as this interview is I must say.
