In the Quraan, it says that muslims can not take the Kuffaar (disbelievers) as Awliyaa (friends, protectors, helpers)...

Allaah has forbidden the believers to take the kaafireen (disbelievers) as friends & has issued a stern warning against doing that.

    Allaah says...

    “O you who believe!

Take not the Jews and the Christians as Awliyaa’, they are but Awliyaa’ of each other & if any amongst you takes them (as Awliyaa’),

then surely, he is one of them."

In this verse Allaah tells us that whoever takes Jews & Christians as friends is one of them because of his taking them as friends.

Elsewhere Allaah states that taking them as friends incurs the wrath of Allaah & his eternal punishment & that if the one who

takes them as friends was a true believer he would not have taken them as friends.

    Allaah says...

“You see many of them taking the disbelievers as their Awliyaa’.

Evil indeed is that which their ownselves have sent forward before them,

for that reason Allaah’s wrath fell upon them & in torment they will

    abide.

And had they believed in Allaah & in the Prophet (Muhammad) & in

what has been revealed to him, never would they have taken them

(the disbelievers) as Awliyaa’, but many of them are the Faasiqoon

    (rebellious, disobedient to Allaah)

    Absolutely ridiculous religion

What are these evil morons at.
Surely beheading clearly decent people who have never harmed anyone can only strengthen the case that the UK/US have in bombing the **** out of them.
Reflected in the relative lack of protest you see this time around.

Are they as stupid as they are murderous.

Why do news programmes decide not to show the beheading of these poor victims when they are quite happy to show pictures of western air strikes. The blowing up of moving vehicles with possible innocent people inside into a million pieces is equally as horrifying as the beheading of any individual.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,805 ✭✭✭take everything

And why again aren't we hearing senior figures in the Muslim world denounce them more vocally.
I can't imagine not hearing from the pope If there were guys doing the same thing in the name of Christianity.

Edit: ok read just there that some Muslim leaders in the UK did that. Still, it would be nice to see them more outspoken on this.

I would imagine they don't like the idea of seemingly stupid murderous savages taking over a large part of country with designs further afield. A well resourced one at that.

Surely it's kind of obvious what is going on? They're trying to provoke a reaction from the US and the UK. Air strikes don't win wars and these people don't fear death. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if they want a chance to face British and American soldiers on the ground. We're not dealing with rational people. They're brain washed lunatics. They want a holy war.

All the top UK Muslim clerics came out with videos pleading with them to release Alan Henning. These fellas are not representative of Islam. I watched a video of them on patrol on a random street in Iraq, going though a market and they stopped a man and his wife and told the guy to cover his woman's face up. The guy then turned around and spoke in a strong London accent. Who the **** are these fellas to tell Muslims who live when these locals have lived in these Muslim countries for generations?
The normal people living in Syria and Iraq must be exhausted from all this bull****.

they will have their wish but unlike previous campaigns the western forces will be allowed take the gloves off and fight like they did when they went up against nazi Germany

Quite a prominent and extreme British Muslim cleric who has a reputation for sympathizing with jihadists even called for Alan Henning's release saying that it was not in keeping with Islamic law to kill a man who was delivering humanitarian aid. To say that Muslims are silent on the whole thing is utter BS. They shouldn't even have to come out and justify their beliefs in the face of what is simply total lunacy anyway.

Is the instruction to cover the woman's face not representative of Islam? These fellas are not representative of the people who practice Islam but surely they represent the religion itself?

I'm saying that I'm sure that the Iraqi and Syrian people in the region have been muslims for centuries and surely know how to live as Muslims.they don't need some little retarded cockney bastard from the east end telling them how to live in their own country.

The something is a bunch of dirty terrorists. Who have beheaded children. Shot dozens of captured men in the head. And beheaded aid workers.

You do realize their not a standing army, their a guerrilla force with no fixed bases or HQ's spread out in cells over the places they control.. Trying to nuke ISIS would end up being the biggest massacre of civilians in a single action since WW2. Although the disregard people seem to have for civilians being killed by the West I guess they wouldn't really mind that too much.

"those ISIS b*stards can't kill civilians in the Middle East how dare they, that's our job" type attitude.

US should invade them with the Turks. These people can't and never will be reasoned with. Some people need to die.

I agree I'm not sure Cameron can be reasoned with but America and Turkey starting a war with the UK won't solve anything.

Don't be such an eejit. British, French and American aid workers, journalists and tourists getting their heads cut off by British Muslims is definitely the 'Wests business'.
Stop blaming the West for these murders - its what these ****ers want- hence the propaganda videos before each beheading.
You know who is to blame? The ****ers with the knives. No one else!!!!

They don't wake up one day and bam think we are going to start murdering westerners for no reason. This has all come to head because of the wests foreign policy in there region, only a fool would think otherwise.

Sheikh Abdul-Aziz Al al-Sheikh (the Saudi grand Mufti) denounces ISIS as heinous under Sharia law.here

Salafist (& al-Qaeda spiritual leader and former mentor of Abu Musab Zarqawi) Assem Barqawi, aka Abu Muhammad al-Maqdisi condemns ISIS, calls the declaration of the caliphate a "rush job", and contrary to the principals of Sharia here

Abdullah el-Faisal, (former Iman of Brixton mosque) calls the killing of someone like Alan Henning un-Islamic and contrary to sharia law, and will backfire on the Islamic state. Same man also tweeted that Isis was a punishment from Allah for “all fake Muslims who don’t want Islam, and stated his support for IS. here

Mohammed Shafiq (chief executive of the Ramadhan Foundation) condmened the killing of Alan Henning, but earlier charged a person (Maajid Nawaz) with
Gustake Rasool (defmaer of prophets, crime punishable by death) for wearing a t shirt with a picture of Mohammed on it. (here)

Omer El-Hamdoon, Muslim Council of Britain, calls for release of Alan Henning. Also endorses death by stoning as a punishment for adultery. He has also called for “Islamophobia” to be made a criminal offence in Britain

This letter to Al-Bagdadi inter alia condemns IS procedures (point 14) (here) , and that it is forbidden in Islam to deny women their rights"!!!

These condemnations of the Islamic State focus on its violent tactics and not its belief that Muslims are commanded to wage jihad to build an Islamic state based on sharia. these condemnations are but self preservation, for ISIS philosophy is "submit to ISIS or die", not "submit to Islam or die". they're happy enough with the whole sharia thing.

the solution to IS and its ilk lies with Islam. the US can bomb the shyte out of them, but after that. the moderates (if there is such a thing) need to come to the fore.

    On a slightly odd note.

al-Qaeda actually tried unsuccessfully to negotiate Alan hennings release from isis at one stage isis apparently wanted several UK citizens released from prison there .

Bit of a coincidence so that these fundamentalist groups have started to wage war on us after our first invasion of Iraq and has got worse after our second invasion?? I don't recall of ever hearing of an attack by these jihadists on American soil before invading Iraq?
