    I am asking this for a friend her husband died an couple of years ago and the esb bills are still in his name. will it cost her to get it put into her name or not ?

    Hi Roisin,

    Thank you for your post. There would be no charge for your friend to put the account in her name. We can just update this for her without having to set up a new account. She would need to contact us either here on Boards or one of our other Social Media channels (Facebook/Twitter) with confirmation of the Electric Ireland account number, full name, address and contact number. If she would be more comfortable discussing this over the phone, then this can also be completed for her if she calls 1850 372 372.
