Tandem satellites and triangle shaped ones

    Was out last night with a friend looking for shooting stars and we saw 2 unusual sights. Around 11ish

    1. Tracking directly above us was a bright satellite with a faded one in front. Like they were in tandem together. Would anyone know what that would be. Was tracking west to east. My friend said he had seen the same or similar on Friday too.

    2. Three very bright objects moving south to north in a triangle formation, 1 in front 2 behind all moving in unison but quite slowly. They were exceptionally bright until they approached the moon when they disappeared.

    Im not skeptical enough to claim aliens, so anyone know what they might be?

    The first 2 you saw are the ISS and a supply ship that's on its way to the ISS.

    Was reading that the triangle might be a trio of satellites used by the US navy that travel slowly in unison, so that could be that one solved :)
