bought a second hand mountain bike today and it has Zefel anti theft locks on the wheels and saddle. I had the saddle off to attach a saddle bag and now the Zefel wont close for me!!!

any ideas??? can seem to find much online about how the work (understandably!!!)

this is the way its stuck...there seems to be a ball bearing or something inside it but it wont budge no matter what way the part is facing

seems to have come unstuck now and working normally. I'll throw it back on the bike tomorrow and see how it goes...

"in the horizontal position, the quick release lever is automatically locked; to unlock the bike has to be lifted-up to the vertical position"

The ball bearing (or whatever the moving part is) is the anti-theft system. A little bit of rust may be impeding it's movement.
