Ive been here since September 13 on the two year working visa.I am fully employed as a General/Servicing Admin in a Large Mortgage broker downtown Toronto Since February 2014. I was working the same position from October 2013 to February 2014 except I was under a temp contract via office Team during that period. I then got made permanent Feb 2014. I wish to stay in Canada for longer than the two years my visa allows. However I'm sure what my options are .I've done a good bit of research but I'm not sure if I'd have much chance under the PR option and my company doesn't offer LMO. Are there any under options to extend my visa if possible?

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Cheers

Look into the Canadian Experience Class. If I was going to stay after my 2 years that's what I'd be applying for. You can apply once you have a full year of work experience. I think your temporary experience would count.

You've to do an English test and get your qualifications from Ireland assessed and then it's based on a points system. I'd looked up the details before I came but I can't remember them all now.

They are changing this visa in 2015 too so that you an apply online from 2015 and they expect to have it back to you in 6 months. So maybe no harm in looking it up and being ready, then actually applying next year.

There may be other visas but this one seemed the most feasible to me.

    Best of luck! :)
