Previous tenants have tried this approach , offering to cut her lawn , do her shopping etc etc but to no avail , ... no im not in Drumcondra , im south side

She called the Gardai the very first night i moved in , there was no way i was going near her after that
Not sure what you mean by the second part of that , read previous comments

Maybe if you knew she was going to be a problem you should have called the DAY you moved in.
Did she have problems with previous tenents in your house? or your family members who own house?
How many other neighbours does she ring 999 on?
Have you ever actually SPOKEN to this women ?

Its not like op did something wrong by not calling round the neighbours on the day they were trying to move in? Talk to the local superintendent, advising you are being harassed by bogus calls.

    This.

OP: Calmly write to the Superintendent, setting out the full and honest story and follow up with a phone call to discuss the situation. It's a waste of police time and your time. If your story is even remotely true, at the very least s/he will speak to this neighbour and if it continues she should be slapped with an ASBO.

    This is tricky one

Maybe try the superintendent approach or call the HSE and say your concerned about an elderly neighbour

You have to turn this back on this woman, she has brought it on herself.

Solicitors letter from you, copied to the Garda super, that she cease and desist the harassment and vexatious complaints. Threaten to injunct her persistent behaviour and that you will seek remedy and compensation in the civil courts.

Its not shopping or a cut lawn that she needs, its a dose of reality.

Drumcondra has several community psychiatric nurses assigned to the area, a legacy of Bertie's days. You could contact the local HSE clinic, explain the problem and see if one would call around to her.

When is the money (including lost growth) Michael Noonan took in the Pension Levy going to be paid back?

Thats what i suspected and i don't care much for the insinuation , no more than i like the "whiter than white" insinuation .... what are you accusing me of Bepolite !!! of course im going to come on here when im guilty as hell looking for advice ... i doubt this guy has kids because if he did he might have a better understanding of how the brain of a 3 and a 4 year old works when they see a police man , particularly when there is one at your front door regularly.. but then anyone who has over 2000 posts in 12 months (averaging 7 a night) cant have much time for anything else except being on here dishing out dodgy legal advice , trolling and thread spoiling .

I didint think i was going to get much of a reply to this and i was correct , an English lesson and accusations thrown at me .

I'm not trying to inflame you or this thread further but if this is your reaction to an anonymous keyboard warrior on boards (I'm talking about me) who knows nothing about you, you might want to look and see if you are perhaps not helping your own situation. There are always two sides to every story, especially with neighbour disputes.

I simply stated my opinion from what you posted and also offered you constructive advice which I see has been backed up by many of the subsequent posts. I'm sorry to have upset you.
