How long to lodge a cheque?

    I lodged a cheque at 8.30pm yesterday via an ATM lodgement machine. It still has not shown up in my account. It was a BoI cheque. Please tell me when this money will be available to me.

    Thanks for contacting us on Boards. 

    A Bank of Ireland cheque will take up to three working days to lodge into a Bank of Ireland account. You should however see the cheque on your account from today, if you are in any way concerned about this cheque lodgement, please contact the branch you lodged this in and a representative will be happy to look into this for you.
