    Hello All,

I've recently installed a SPC5300 & gone through a vary basic setup (location, language etc..). I've been trying to connect via a web browser but no joy.

    I've tried
direct, computer to panel connection, & also via a router,
with internet explorer, & also firefox

On all occasions the webpage just times out.

I've 'pinged' the panel & they are successful so it is definitely connected to the LAN.

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks,

    Leo

Well, seems to be a simple solution.

    I was typing

192.168.178.99 in my browser. Turns out you have to type:

    https://192.168.178.99

    Hi Leo,
Are you able to ping the panel?
You have tried to enter https instead of http?
Your firewall on your PC is not blocking the traffic?
The IP-address of the panel is correct?
