Got mine 22 years ago, it being in the days before the internet I remember going to the school, being happy that I passed and and drinking a few pints in the pub that night with a few classmates.

I think we were the only year to get our results on a Saturday.
19 August 1989.
Went out around 8.00pm until the bitter end - nightclub - chips - shift - long walk home.
Came back home and watched late night news re Marchioness disaster. Shocking.

28 years ago, I honestly can't remember for some reason. I remember the Junior Cert results though, we went drinking in a field with no bottle opener and I thought it was a good idea to smash the neck of a bottle off of a tree and cut my mouth off of it

10 years ago here, I did go out. But I can’t actually remember where I went or anything! That could be a good or bad thing depending how you look at it
