Middle Eastern news agencies have this week reported that a Sheikh man in the Batin province in north eastern Saudi Arabia died after attempting to have sexual intercourse with a donkey.

The 40-year-old man is believed to have taken the animal to a remote area, tied it to his car, disrobed and attempted to sodomise the ass before being killed.

It is understood that the donkey kicked the man once in the face and twice in the torso, leading to his death.

Police were puzzled when they stumbled upon the bizarre scene, but tests late shed some light on the grim proceedings by confirming the presence of animal dung on the man’s genitals.

An assessment of the scene concluded that the man survived for some time after receiving the fatal blows.

His name has not been released.
