There's a much cheaper option for these now, one of these cables.

I bought one a while back but haven't tested it out yet, so can't comment on it's quality, but have read some good reviews.

I always thought the 'box' part of a VGA box did some video conversion but it actually doesn't and is just there for the output ports. VGA out is already present from the console, so all you need is a cable.
