    Tournament Announcement - Wicklow Town, Co. Wicklow.

    Points Limit:
    The points limit is 1,780. Army lists must be selected from one of the Late War books listed below or any official Late War PDF that carries the “V3 approved” stamp:

    • Bridge at Remagen
    • Fortress Italy
    • Road to Rome
    • Desperate Measures
    • Atlantik Wall
    • Overlord
    • Bridge by Bridge
    • Market Garden
    • Nuts
    • Devil’s Charge
    • Blood Guts and Glory
    • Grey Wolf (Revised)
    • Red Bear (Revised)
    • V3 Forces book

    Rules:
    The V3 rules and the most recent “Lessons from the Front”, (http://www.flamesofwar.com/Default.aspx?tabid=109), will be in place.

    Lists:
    Lists are due by 10pm, Sunday the 7th of September, 2014. Please use Easy Army (http://www.easyarmy.com/) for creating lists, where possible. Lists must be emailed to ulickosullivan@hotmail.com prior to the deadline.

    Missions:
    There will be a total of five rounds; three on the Saturday and two on the Sunday. The missions will be made up of 1 Defensive Battle, 2 Fair Fights and 2 Mobile Battles. The exact missions will be randomly drawn on day 1 from the pool of missions in the V3 rulebook.

    Match-Ups:
    The first round will be drawn at random. The second round and subsequent rounds will be paired using the Swiss method (1st will play 2nd, 3rd will play 4th, etc.). All efforts will be made to ensure that no one plays on the same table twice.

    Scoring:
    Standard rulebook scoring will be in place (6-1, 5-2, 4-3, etc.)

    Painting and WYSIWYG:
    We aim to make this tournament as open to beginners as possible, however all forces must be exactly as stated in your army list submitted. No proxied or substitution models are allowed. All models must be at least assembled and based coated. If we can accommodate, we may be able to loan models and/or armies to players, however please contact ulickosullivan@hotmail.com prior to the event to arrange this or if you have any queries.

    Timetable:
    Game rounds will last for 2 hours 30 minutes each, however an extra 10 minutes will be provided for both players to finish on the same number of turns.
    Saturday - Round 1 starts at TBD
    Saturday - Round 2 starts at TBD
    Saturday - Round 3 starts at TBD
    Sunday - Round 4 starts at TBD
    Sunday - Round 5 starts at TBD

    Prizes:
    There are seven prizes overall for Best General, Best Painted and the Best Sport
    Best General – 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place
    Best Painted – 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place
    Best Sport – 1st place
