I don't want to be like performing major surgery everyday, I'd rather do some small surgeries or work behind the scenes. Right now i think I'd love to be a Radiologist, basically a doctor that reads all the scans (X rays, CATs and so on..)

Guys paderitition and general pracitce doesnt require surgery and are great to consider with good wages. My dad does gp now and is considering opening a practice in the next few years. He used to be a paedritition and used to work with leo varadkar at crumlin hospital

I'd love to do all the ground-breaking surgerys you hear about in the news and online. I think it's probably why I'm attracted to Neurosurgery because it's quite interesting and there's still a lot to be discovered in that field :)

I'd rather be a consultant than a GP but it really suits some people, especially those who like to deal with a variety of cases

GP is supposed to be very difficult to get into unless you have contacts in that field (or so I've read online)

Yep :) it's only really because the HPAT was marked differently so scores dropped loads, although i wasn't expecting an 18 point drop. Hopefully it stays around there for us! :D

There's a lot of talk about scrapping the HPAT so you'd never know :o Hopefully it might be gone by the time we get there!
