Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Delighted to be the exception to that rule, ending a 6 match losing streak (incl 2 one point losses) and easing the relegation chatter in the local press.

Ah yes. The online edition of the Finn Valley Voice gas a special pull out supplement on your travailsðŸ˜
A win for me but ill have to hope for Zarquon to go on a losing run akin to my recent one.

Best not to discuss it here

Back on topic, huge gameweek down the bottom of the table.

With only 6 points between 18th and 12th, anyone could fall into that final relegation spot.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Leading Boots by 18 with Sanchez the only differential for him.

Still reluctant to call it outa superstition! :)

21 pts with 7 to play, inc Cpt Hazard.

    :)

10 pts behind. The WH CS hurt me. Will need something special from my City duet for a 7th win in a row and maintain the top spot hope.

Game over for me as Myhill hands Lemlin a massive 3 points in the relegation battle!

Game is far from over. You still have Terry and Bellerin as differentials. I'm only 5 points ahead.

    In fairness it's Terry + Bellerin against 5pts +Ivanovic + Silva...game over :D

Bellerin could easily score. You also have Mane with 9 first sub if he was rotated.

10 pts ahead now :). My Sanchez vs his Giroud left.

Leading swiper 48 - 44 but I am all out and he has Bellerin & Sanchez left

I am now an avid Hull supporter!

Ya, in a kinda meh week this is my main focus now, 5 points should be doable but as usual I'm quite pessimistic about it.

13 points ahead in the relegation battle. We both have Giroud left so Bellerin is key. Stranger things than him scoring 14 have happened this weekend to be honest.

Bloody hell made to sweat by Alexis!!

3 point win in the end I think....

Big win for the Commandos this week. Three games to go. Three cup finals.

You have a tough trip to the capital this week. The boys will want revenge from the earlier defeat in cavan.

    Absolutely demolished this week :(

Reckon I need 2 wins out of the remaining 3 to stay up.

7th win in a row :D. Thank you Alexis .

With both Swiper & zarquon winning it looks like I started from too far behind. It'll be tough to get the "title" now. And Gillespie winning too leaves me no margin to secure a podium finish.

By the way, what's the record? Is it you Swiper? How many you got in row? Did you reach 10?

Big game for us. I have a superior points difference at the moment to most teams below me so one more win may keep us up. It's very tight for that final relegation place.

I think one win should almost certainly leave me safe.

It would mathematically leave you safe. I may not need anything more from my 3 remaining games to be honest, but I certainly won't be taking any liberties with my safety either.

Ah, the H2H table hadn't updated when I was looking at it early this morning. Was wondering why I hadn't a green arrow after a win.

I had 9 wins a row, but 13 games undefeated. 9 wins, 2 draws and 2 wins consecutively

    I managed 11 wins in a row from week 14 to 24.

Would like to think captaining Aguero has been enough to keep me in the division. Hopefully he keeps it up to put it beyond doubt

I lead Busts 74 to 56. He needs 18 points from Ozil + whatever Giroud scores.

Iroced beating me by 5 if I calculated everything right. Comes down to Giroud v Bellerin + 5 tomorrow. A loss here and I'm struggling to stay up.

Hopefully. That win should keep me up.

unless Bellerin gets 6 points Zarquon will win his tie and his 5 point lead will go into the final two games, I should win this week unless Ramsey goes mental and it sounds like iroced will win also.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,638 ✭✭✭Iago

I could yet get beaten by an automatic substitution in my game against Journeymen

    As it stands I'm on 76 v 80(-4)

We both have Bellerin & Sanchez. Journeymen has Ramsey, and I have Giroud.

If Ramsey doesn't play he has Henderson coming in as first sub on 7 points meaning I'll need a hell of a return from Giroud.

Either way I'll probably need Giroud to pick up a goal at least to outscore Ramsey/Henderson

    Nail biting stuff!

Trail Never Captain Cleverly by 1 point with it all coming down to my Kos vs Belerin. Come on ya big bonus point whore ya Koscielny!

    6. 6 pts ahead :P.

And yeah your Giroud vs my Bellerin. Hopefully they play so we have a fair "fight" ;).

Oh oh oh it's far from done for me. And if Bellerin is rested I only have 1 pt coming from the bench. Didn't see the PVA CS coming.

But yeah a Bellerin masterclass tomorrow would suit me doubly then ;).

Ah yeah :pac:. I had actually seen it... Well it could really go either way. I'm very afraid of Giroud to be honest. He hasn't scored in a little while. Swansea are blowing hot & cold. And I'm afraid he'll end this while tomorrow and make me regret my choice of going for Benteke...

Well that was anti climatic  Congrats on the 3 points.

    I'm in trouble now.

Cheers. But in the end I got "punished" too with Arsenal losing the CS :p. I asked for a fair fight between Giroud & Bellerin. Well 2-2 it couldn't be fairer :pac:... Which suits me.

Best of luck for your next 2 games.

    --

As for me, 8th win in a row :). But unfortunately (for me) zarquon & Swiper maintain the same "winning" rhythm than me. zarquon is getting very close to the graal now.

The good news is with both gillespie and irish son losing I secured a top 3 finish. Direct qualification to the Champions League :D.

Still only a point between you and Iago for that last relegation place. Daithi not out of it yet either if you both pick up from. I'm mathematically safe at last. Thank f*ck. After the first couple of weeks I looked like I might really struggle.

Has the table been updated this week yet? I'm showing on 46 points now but thought I should have 49 after my win this week. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself though...

Looks good for you now alright. The loss of Bellerins cs last night didn't worry me too much for the 4 points but I knew that it probably ended this league for me.

Table updated now. Despite another 1 point loss due to Arsenals late cock up results elsewhere leave me safe. Friends in Loew Places are officially on the beach baby!! :)

The Commandos are also safe. 6 points off relegation and I've a 60 point lead so can't see that being overturned.

So who's going down and who's coming up? Two relegated already and probably a three way battle to avoid the last drop spot. Similar to the other less important Barcleys Premier League.
