    Hey.. new to this but heard its great way to meet up with people abroad.. im finished college and going to san fran for 3 months. don't really know anypne put there but really want ta have great time.. and get to know lots. if anyone has any ideas on places, pubs/clubs/gaa clubs that I could meet up with people in same situation as me,would be brill.. :)

    Have the money to last the 3 months? You'll be asked this when going through emigration.

    SF (please don't call it san fran....it is the #1 thing to annoy locals, followed closely by "frisco"...:)) is pretty expensive. Food and drinks are pretty pricy (beers downtown? $7 no including tip)

    Also..be careful with your dates, you have 90 days, not three months - a day miscalculation could see you banned from using the VWP again.

    You'll need to be prepared to answer a few questions at the border, as the CBP are pretty suspicious at the best of times, and with college graduate on a 3 month break they'll be even more suspicious.

    Will you have enough cash? Do you intend to work? What are you plans for 3 months? etc etc
