Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Your wish will be granted on Sunday.

Don't forget to leave your tooth under the pillow as well. you might find an All Ireland ticket left there.

Now that Lowry's part of the team I suppose anything is possible.

Tipp team is unchanged from the Cork match

Tipp must be the only team in the country with a better head to head record in the championship with KK.

    This current Tipp team don't.

But overall, they lead 13 to 11.

Does any other county lead KK in head to head?

Only Tipp I think. They led 12-5 before 2002. 6 out of 7 to KK since.

Find it hard to see anything other than a kk victory on Sunday. They are not the team they were but I still think they will have too much for Tip.
I hope they game doesn't have a stupid sending off or something like that to ruin what should be a titanic battle by two teams who when they go toe to toe usually produce a cracker.

I'd imagine his panel selection is a lot more calculated than that.

Wouldn't surprise me if Cody held off naming his team 'til Sunday.

I suppose to be fair to him he never tried to start a row with the rival teams manager while the match was on.

I'm toning it down a bit this year Jerry because I'm expecting a busy week ahead, starting with the dogs in shelbourne park sat night.

Was that the match where cody walked into the wrong dugout?

How many of your settled team were on board for the 2012, 18 point hammering Dan. Just curious.

It's 13-10 in Championship, 13-7 in finals I'd say, unless Kilkenny and Tipp met in a semi in bygone years?

As someone else said, it was 12-4 when Cody took, 6 out of 7 since has seen KilKenny chip away.

Also, in league finals and Championship it's 10-1 to KK under Cody, and also 9-1 in last 10 meetings since the 2010 Final.

The sight of the Black and Amber spooks the Tipp men these days. ; )

Anything is possible with Lar. As was proven when he followed Tommy around like a lost pup.

Anything is possible alright, like sticking 3 goals in the Kilkenny net!

I know that.but I'd like to see them chasing after each other Sunday.which im sure will happen at least once!

6 of the team played that match + 2 coming off the bench

Have fun prowling my posts for something to pick at?
I think the few posts I have on this thread are all I posted in the gaa section.
And all I posted basically was I'd like to see shefflin start, and lar coming back down the pitch to meet him with a few tackles, which IMO, I can see happening...

What's wrong with that?? (And I know their both forwards)

Look I don't mean to be an a**hole but when you start a post by saying Lar will get the better of the "supposed" king Henry by half time, you display your total lack of knowledge on the subject. No offence intended

Given Lar's form this year I doubt it, maybe Callinan though.

I find it interesting that more of the Tipp starting 15 were involved in 2009 than in 2012 - 8 as opposed to 6 - which I take as a measure of how much this team lost its way after 09/10. They are under-achievers and have a chance to redeem themselves on sunday. Don't mean they'll win but I believe it's a great motivating factor.........being Tipp myself it merely makes me more hopeful rather than expectant

With all due respect there is about as much chance of me coming off the bench and scoring the winning goal for Waterford.

OK lets stop pussyfooting around here. I've been biting my lip all week because some fellas round here are a bit sensitive and will hang me out to dry with the mods the first chance they get. Bottom line-Tipp will win on Sunday, make no mistake about that! I don't give a flying f*** what team Kilkenny put out, dummy teams, false teams, its all the one we're not going home without bringing the trophy back to its birthplace.

If you want to be technically correct about it - the current cup was actually made in Kilkenny by a Kilkenny man :D

I'm looking forward to the game - hope it will be a cracker.

The new trophy was crafted by a Kilkenny man you know? ;)

Leave Dan alone. 48 and some few hours from now he will have enough hurt, pain and anguish inflicted once more on his beloved Tipp by the greatest team of all time. Like going to the dentist isent it Dan, you know you have to go while knowing it going to very, very painful.

All the sweeter so when a Tipperary man lifts it and takes it home. :)
