Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Much worse than Sneijder IMO.

I'd say it's reaching that level now. Trying to think of any like this before the age of the internet.

Marcelo Salas is the only one that springs to mind. Might have subconsciously blocked out the others.

Vidal easily the worse transfer saga ever.

Ronaldhino was the worst I'm an remember. He was more or less signed the whole summer, just waiting and waiting for announcement and then....bang...gone to Barcelona.

Vidal for me has never been a likely target the whole summer, despite the speculation. It's only in the last couple of days that I've considered that there may be a chance of him signing.

Ronaldinho...what could have been. If I ever met Peter Kenyon I'd have some choice words for him.

We should be all over Khedeira like flies on something that flies love to be on.

Between Khedeira, Blind, and Vidal we should be throwing in bids for at least 2 of them.

The longevity of these transfer stories is a big component for me. Ronaldinho didn't drag on like Vidal has and a few weeks after Ronaldinho was over, Utd signed Ronaldo so didn't work out too badly.

If Vidal doesn't work out, Utd have a very small window of time to make something else happen.

Yea, was so p1ssed off we missed out on him and had to settle for some unproven young fella from Medeira!

Least that one ended up for the best :pac:

Ronaldinho had zero interest in coming here since it was obvious that a bid from us, Arsenal, etc would trigger interest from Real, Barca, Milan or Juve.

Also if we get Ronaldinho there is a good chance we never go for Ronaldo.

I don't know. Legend has it that Ronaldinho got fcuked out of Barcelona because he was a bad influence on Messi. He kept bringing him out on the town and getting him locked!:pac:

couldn't sit there watching that crap all day, even at the best of times. Never mind using up one of my holidays on it.

SSN goes in loops anyway. I'll watch the last 30mins or something just to catch up on everything that has happened. Can't be ****ed watching it all day or anything like it.

Yeah, I didn't hear it all.

Really just how poor united were last night.
About people giving out about van gaal.

Nothing we hadn't heard before from the bit I heard.

I have 23 holiday days and fcuk if im spending any of them in Ireland, never mind watching something that frustrating at home. Last years was excruciating

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,437 ✭✭✭redbaron_99

One unusual thing I've noticed about Van Gaal in the opening three games was how calm he was about the crap he was watching. Never got up and shouted, or looked urgent, or in any way emotional.

He was screaming in a linesman's face in pre-season because of an offside.

    Odd

Already in for Falcao and Reus. They had sell Di Maria because they had bought too many players. What would be the point in going for Vidal?

Khedeira should have been included in the Di Maria deal as a sweetener since we paid so much for the Angel ;)

He is normally quite calm and reserved on the sidelines with the occasional headcase moment.

To put it in words he would use, he is analysing.

    ....................Vidal.........Herrera................

    .............................Mata............................

    .....Rooney.......Van Persie......Di Maria....

Have to admit, I felt yesterdays result meant nothing before the match, but kept away from here today as I was so pissed off, thought I can't be getting so worked up, there will probably be a lot more of this to come.
