just sent away my application for my vintage membership to the IVS. 25 euro.
45 euro for insurance with FBD when the membership arrives back.
tax it after that, then I can take her for a few legal spins!

question - do I need a lighting kit on it? I've seen a lot at vintage rallys with nothing at all on them.

kits on DD for about 80 quid.
I think the roll bar is mandatory as well.

Yes the roll bar is mandatory and for piece of mind I would put on the lighting kit

It would look well with both added...
Although I think its probably exempt from the rollbar legislation as in real Irish style I'm fairly sure it wasn't retrospective.

There was actually an interesting study done in which they found that not even drinking tea, just listening to the sound of a kettle boiling actually reduced people's stress levels. Mad Ted. Mad!!!!

We have one of those whistley things that screeches the house down when it's boiling. It definitely does NOT reduce any stress in this house :pac:

Did that a few times by complete accident. Would have one of those moments in the street/at home where I'd stop in horror and realise I'd walked out while on the phone or chatting away. Featherhead.

Always rang back to say I'd pay them the next day or the next time I was in. :o
