Starting a podcast?

    Good day fellow boardsians??,

    I would love to start a podcast/YouTube with somebody, if anybody is foolish enough to want the same.

    My background is in technology and casinos, and my interests for the podcast would be anything technology related or movie/tv show related.

    I would be open to join somebody in an existing project, or be a guest sometimes on their show/podcast if they want, as long as the subjects are in my area.

    Feel free to reply with any input.

    Sorry for kind of piggybacking on your thread, but you're going along the same lines I was anyway.

    I have a definite idea for a podcast, and I've put a good bit of research and planning into the idea, and will back it with with time and effort. My plan is to record an initial 5 podcasts on my own to see how it goes and use those 5 as a portfolio to attract a better presenter/co presenter. Ideally I'll be off mic tbh.

    My question is, is there anywhere in Dublin that will support a trial effort as described? Like a recording space which facilitates decent Skype line quality? If I'm happy with the trial episodes, I'll invest in my own gear, but for now I just want to see if it'll work.

    I would hope that a local/community radio station might be open to this type venture, I will be contacting some over the next few days. Thanks for any advice!
