Wouldn't it be lovely to see a Rose on the show with a regular job - like working on the checkout in Lidl or Aldi?

Some day a nice girl from the inner city of wherever will be on and be an unmarried mother with three children who is a cleaner and who hadn't got a rich daddy and will sing a rebel song........in a vivid red dress.......

    I won't hold my breath...

My other half just announced he needs to roll a joint to cope with this. I haven't seen him smoke weed in the past 3 years. Hahaha.

'My Lovely Rose of Clare' was written about the Clare Rose (Eileen Slattery) she won the Rose of Tralee in 1968. We haven't won it since :(
