Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Usually scans are saved as .jpg or similar... i have scans that have been saved as .pdf but i am unable to copy and paste from them... but then i have original documents that were created as .pdf and i can copy and paste.. id say you might resigned to typing out the urls

What you want to do is scan the document and then use OCR software (your scanner probably came with some) to parse the scanned image into text.
It's an extra step though, and not always entirely accurate.
Unless the URL is very long it would probably be quicker to just type it in.

If you've an Android smart phone, then Google "Goggles" app has OCR.
Scan it with the phone and e-mail yourself the results.
