I heard of a tree been painted if a big branch fell off would anyone know if its gloss or emulison paint my sheep have skinned the bark of a young tree. Thanks in advance

paint will not help the tree seal over the wound, only the tree itself can do that. Is the tree ringbarked or damaged on one side? A picture would help
