Recycling electronics and books in Cork

Where can I recycle electronics and books in Cork? It seems like the Kinsale Road recycling center accepts electronics? What about old books that I want to get rid of? I am just leaving Ireland and have to get rid of some things?

I have some academic text books that are obsolete. They belong to a museum or a recycling center in my opinion.

Unwanted books can be recycled (mainly paper?)

Ring the recycling centre and ask?
