Do employers value open university courses?

I am wondering if employers see OU courses as being as "good" as, say, a brick and mortar college here in Ireland? Does it depend on the course? What have OU students here found regarding this?

If anything it's regarded as better as it's mostly self motivated and most ou students are working at least part time while they're doing their studies. It also shows a commitment to life long learning and the fact that you're paying for it too shows that you're very dedicated to furthering your education.

Depends how closely it mirrors what skill sets required by the employers.
