Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Is there any bye laws that cover drinking on commuter trains before 9am this early in the morning, or offensive body odours. (passengers bringing there own cans on board), if there is what can ticket checkers do.

Another thing, is there a limit on how many passengers can safely be carried on board trains when all the seating is occupied?

Its not allowed on the Dart and Commuter trains. Its not illegal to have BO. Someone put the capacity numbers in one of the threads the other day.

Would not be surprised if he was brought to the station by the Garda and put on the train. Sure how else would he get home. Probably had free travel as well.

If a person is filthy and is also a danger to soiling the train, bus or coach then they can be refused travel.

If someone is intoxicated or abusive they can also be refused.

    Some smelly muppets out there...

A few have been removed off the train in the past for that.

    There is no upper limit.
