Does anyone have a 1-2 man tent and sleeping bag small enough to fit in a regular backpack for 3-4 day expeditions along places like the Kerry Camino?

I often find a rucksack ruins a good hike especially when there are mountains involved, even when you don't overfill it so Im trying to put together a smaller grab and go kit and Id like to have a tent in there with an ultralight sleeping bag aswell instead of a bivvie...

I got a vango soul 200 2-man tent, quite small and weighs 2kgs.

Also got an urban escape sleeping bag it packs tiny and weighs almost nothing.

I got both of these in halfords for €55 as there was a sale and I had a 10% discount on top.

I have a luxe sil-mini-peak which I can heartily recommend.

First off you can pitch the outer shel in less than 1min which will get you shelter on a tough spot. I used this both here and in the Nordics and so can attest its functionality.

Second it's 1.25kg (ex walking pole) very light and simple, use a single walking pole to pitch it and yer done, so less than 1.5kg in all and fits in my 35+10 no probs.

With regards the bag that's up to you and your comfort. Lots of folk use synth, which is great for damp conditions and weight but can be bulky, I have the alpkit 800 which packs small but as it's down you have to hero it dry. No mean feat but worth it.

I can't recommend the pitch enough, the bag is up to you!

Well I assume you have a nest which is fine for you and your bag, I bring a ground sheet at home to keep me gear off the ground as it's so damp here, if I'm away it's not so necessary.

Have a look at buying compression stuff sacks and put the fly sheet into it to squash it down.
