New developments in the music section! Music Reviewers wanted

    Eagle-eyed boards users may have noticed that we have made a few behind the scenes changes to the forum. Users can now embed media players from Spotify, Deezer and Soundcloud. This means users can post songs, albums and playlists on the site.

    That’s not the only change we are going to be making around here!

    We have been talking to labels and PR firms about getting pre-release copies of albums that we can review on the site. We are looking for passionate music fans to share their opinions on the latest music releases with the Boards.ie community. If you want to hear the latest albums ahead of their release date and feel you have the writing skills to put together a few hundred words praising or damning them as appropriate, please get in touch. PM me if you are interested in reviewing albums on the site.

    Similarly If you are in a band and want to get your music reviewed, please PM and I can arrange to get your album out for review.

    Also for the Bands And Musicians Communtiy- we plan to have semi-regular Q&A sessions with industry professionals. First up is Angela Dorgan from First Music Contact, who runs the Hard Working Class Heroes. More to come!

    We have some other announcements in the pipeline, will be posting some more over the coming weeks!
