Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Liverpool's heads have dropped.

Conceding another couple wouldn't surprise me now.

Poor from Liverpool but City just have better quality all over, still expect Pool to beat most of the rest

Defensive frailties again but good goal by city, game over, damage limitation now

If we keep our foot on the gas, there's definitely another goal or two for us here.

City are just a better team than us right now.

    no shame in that.

    "Interesting development"

Not really. Coutinho's been poor as far as I'm concerned.

    Moreno is been murdered.

Throwing away the league made up for that

    Man City rampant now.

Liverpool would do well to stop a hammering here, need to defend to mitigate against it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,230 ✭✭✭A-Train

Liverpool's play is in the final third is terrible, don't look like scoring at all.

Ball was on for Sturridge :(
    Great run though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

Should have played it to Sturridge. Defender had stopped

Ball was just a tad behind Sturridge. Would have scored otherwise.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,694 ✭✭✭BMJD

    Lazer is the new Coutinho

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Markovic has a Baros-esque look about him except he actually lifts his head!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,391 ✭✭✭PhiloCypher

Sturridge never attacks the ball or makes things uncomfortable for defenders on high balls, just waits behind them hoping they make a hash of it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

    Keep it low :(

He just made a decent chance out of nothing there to be fair to him. Good save by Joe Hart

Hmm... Looking at it again, Lovren might have been able to put that one out for a corner, in hindsight.

    At this moment in time.

Should have a goal back by now if Moreno had squared it to Sturridge, but after Liverpool being marginally the better team in the first 30 City are value for their lead for sure.

Will you be supporting Spurs against Liverpool again this year buddy?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Markovic is at least getting into the City penalty area. Felt like Liverpool were short a body up there until he came on.
