Hard to say.

He landed very awkwardly on his back. Was moving gingerly afterward. Could be something minor, could be something more sinister.

Assuming the strike doesn't go ahead. If it does and it goes on long enough the result tonight for Madrid is immaterial. Barca are already champions.

The thing is if you chucked Sevilla, Valencia and Aleti into any other league in Europe they'd be competing for the Top Four if not the titles (They'd arguably need a bit more squad depth/cover though for titles.). People assume the duopoly implies lack of quality. It doesn't. La Liga has some depth in quality to it.

Valencia and Sevilla with a BPL top 4 budget over the last 10 seasons would have Champions League challenging sides. I'd put Sociedad and Bilbao up there too with their youth academies.

Athletico are admirable in how they did it without megabucks.
